AI Chat

Using AI Chat lets you create a new job just by chatting with the AI—no form entry required.

Preparation

To use AI Chat, the "AI Job Creation Support" option must be enabled in your organization's feature settings.

Basic Usage

1. Access the Create with Chat Page

You can access the Create with Chat page by following these steps:

  1. Click "Job Automation" > "Create Job" in the side menu
  2. The "Create Job - Action Guide" page will open. Click the "Create Job with AI Chat" link

2. Start the Conversation

Once you access the Create with Chat page, the interface will be displayed as shown below.

Sending Messages: Enter your instructions in the input field at the bottom of the page and click the send button or press Enter to start the AI process.

Line Breaks: To enter multi-line instructions, press Shift + Enter.

After a brief wait, the AI's response will appear, and the "Job Settings" panel on the right side of the screen will open automatically.

Continue the dialogue until all required items are configured. You can check the status of mandatory fields in real-time within the "Job Settings" panel.

Once all items highlighted in red are resolved, the "Create Job" button will be enabled.

3. Create the Job

When the job is ready to be created, the AI will notify you: "The job is ready to be created." At this point, the "Create Job" button at the top right of the screen will also become clickable.

Click the "Create Job" button. The process is complete when the confirmation message is displayed.

Examples

You can start your instructions by specifying the action you want to perform or the desired schedule, such as:

  • "I want to start an EC2 instance."
  • "I want to take an AMI at 06:30 on weekdays for instances with the 'Env:Production' tag."

If you have already determined the specific settings, you can provide them all at once:

Create a job to change the instance type to t3.small every day at 22:00
for EC2 instances with the "env:develop" tag in the Tokyo region,
under the group "sys" and AWS account "sys-AAA123-dev".

❗️Important Notes

Chat history is not saved on the server

The contents of your interaction in the AI Chat are not stored on the server.

Please note that if you navigate away from the page or close your browser tab during a conversation, all progress will be lost. You cannot resume a session from where you left off, nor can you review past conversations later.

Tips

Answer with Buttons or Select Boxes

During the conversation, the AI may present multiple options. You can respond by clicking the displayed buttons or using the select boxes.

Alternatively, you can continue by typing a message directly into the input field.

If the AI Returns an Error

If an error message occurs during the dialogue, you can click the "Retry" button to resend your previous message to the AI.

You may also continue the conversation by entering a different message in the input field.

Creating Multiple Jobs with Similar Settings

After creating a job, you can continue the dialogue to create another job without ending the session.

Since the AI remembers the context of the current session, you can give instructions such as: "I want to stop the same EC2 instance as the previous job."

This method is an efficient way to create jobs for different actions on the same instance or to set up multiple jobs with the same schedule.
